Arrival of new baby brings along many new things which a new mom would have hardly expected. Pregnancy not only comes with happiness but it comes with major ups and downs. One of the biggest challenges for them is losing the pregnancy gained weight. However, from my experience I have gathered tips which not only will help you lose weight but will help you to get back to your shape and jeans ones you fitted in.

Breast Feed

In the hustle of getting back to work, most of the moms choose not to breast feed their babies. Formula is the best option for them. However, breast feeding your babies is highly recommended for you and baby both.  It will not only help your baby get nutritious food but it is the best way to lose those extra pounds you would have put on. Exclusive breast feeding for few months is the best option to shed that extra chubbiness.

Take walks

Be patient with your body. It took nine months to gain that weight. Your body needs time to lose those extra pounds it gained.  Do not consider the celebrities with straight away went to size zero soon after delivery. They might have too the rigorous exercise which body might not be even ready for. You can start by talking walks in the park or may be nearby. It will help you to stay fit.  Strolling around with your baby is the best way. It will help you and your baby both.

Stay hydrated.

Most important tip which is highly ignored by moms is staying hydrated. Drinking nearly eight glasses of water is highly recommended. It helps you stay in shape, lose weight and increase your milk supply. Water is important part of body and that too when you are breast feeding your baby, it serves as a boon. It helps you stay away from dizziness and gives that extra energy you require when you have a new born.

Get your sleep

There is one old saying, which our parents and grandparents always used to say. Sleep when your baby sleeps. It takes months for new born to adjust to the wake and sleep cycles.  Uneven sleep invites sleepless nights for parents.  However, babies adjust their sleep by sleeping during the day time but we do not. So, sleeping or having a nap along with your baby, no matter what time is it will help you to keep up your energy level. Rest and have naps.

Belly wraps

Belly wraps are highly recommended to bring back that bulged belly to shape again. It took many months to stretch that belly. It will not come in shape as soon you deliver. It takes time for uterus to contract and that stretched skin to get back. Belly wraps are available in market to tie around your tummy. Tie it religiously and you will soon notice the change. Despite of normal delivery or C section, you can tie after taking advice from your doctors.  

Eat healthy

Owing to the demands and changed life, most of the moms forget to have healthy food and they eat what is available and easy to go unhealthy food. It is advisable the eat healthy products as you are just not feeding yourself but your baby too.  In order to keep running all day for your baby, those healthy bits will help you. New baby tend to keep parents on toes day and night so snacking on healthy food will help you to get back to shape and push those extra pounds off your body.
