Nargol beach is the closest beach from the border of Maharashtra state while entering the state of Gujarat. Since it is located South of Gujarat and yet uncharted the beach is pretty spotless and clean. You will only see residents of Nargol town which are comparatively very less in number.
Also, you won’t get much to eat on the beach. Ideally, people carry food from home and spend about 3-4 hours over here. Pre-wedding shoots are on high these days and such locations are preferred by high-class photographers and videographers. So, it is considered as one of the finest spaces to bud pre-wedding gear.
All in all, a virgin beach to be explored
The crowd is very less compared to any other nearby beaches and so it is preferred by people who love solidarity, peace and tranquillity. It is also one of the preferred places for the family who are seeking for a one-day outing with fun and frolic. However, it is preferred to carry homemade food, requirements like water, snacks and things to play at the beach sand. Beach is beautifully surrounded by the casuarina trees that augment the beauty of the beach as a newly wedded girl covered with sparkles of hope and happiness.
Nargol Beach is an attractive and peaceful beach positioned in the state of Gujarat prolifically spread over an area of around 16km. The beauty of this beach is enhanced tenfold by the plush green casuarinas trees. However, the beach is not idyllic for swimming, It is a picture-perfect place for leisure gaits or a picnic. The best time to visit the beach is during the winter season from October to March.
Agiary (Fire Temple) is located adjacent to the Nargol beach and is worshipped by a large number of Parsi pilgrims who come here to pray and seek blessings. Beach is well linked through airways, railway and road. You can access the beach through two airports, one in Daman and other in Surat that is connecting to Nargol beach and also with all the major cities of India. If you prefer railway stations, the nearest one is Sajan railway station which is located at a distance of a mere 11 km. It is small 4 min ride from the Nargol village.
Seawater is thick, but Beach is unspoiled and fresh and so it is suitable for very long walks. Also supreme for group activities, picnic and gatherings. The place is secluded on weekdays but humming with action on holidays. Visiting on own vehicles is sensible.
