Places to visit in Singapore!

Singapore is an island, let me say one of the most beautiful island of Asia. It is one of the country that has abolished poverty by 100 %. Yes, you read it right. By visiting Singapore we could line up the fact as we were unable to spot a single beggar on any street. there re several places to visit in singapore and you will be awestruck by all of them.

Rules to be followed in the country.

There are several things that can be noticed about Singapore and one of them is its cleanliness and the tough rules imposed by the Singaporean government. Those who do not obey have to pay severe fine along with imprisonment and trust me tourist is not an exception. I suppose, this is the only country in the entire world that has banned chewing gum. Munching food in the public transport is an offence too.

Planning and mapping the days as per our stay.

We had to plan our visit logically as we had limited number of days in this beautiful country. Monuments, gardens, cruise, hotels we had so many things on our mind and watch list. We jotted down the must places to visit in Singapore and to be finished off first. We had our five year old daughter and we also had to keep her entertainment in mind while planning the trip.

First & foremost thing to keep in mind while traveling to Singapore is looking for a perfect hotel. A hotel is a place that helps reduces all the stress you had while travelling and moving around.

Day 1 began while planning for at least 3 places and covering them during the course of the day. Being nature lover, we planned of visiting gardens by the bay first.

Supertree groove Singapore

This is one of many structures standing there. It was amazing and spectacular beauty on its own. We were just awestruck viewing the construction. It is an awe-inspiring garden spread in 101 hectares. This place is set in the heart of the city.  It has three gardens which are named as Bay South, Bay East and Bay Central. The conservatory complex at Gardens by the Bay, Singapore, comprises two cooled conservatories – the Flower Dome and the Cloud Forest. children garden, horticulture themed garden, gardens with various species, etc is the key attraction to this place. This is a mus visit place Singapore for a nature lover.

Way to reach:

You can reach there by bus and also by cabs. Cabs are the easiest means for this who are visiting this country for the first time, however travelling through bus is more budget friendly and can give you massive experience as well.

Gardens by the bay covered major time of the day so all we could cover only gardens by the bay instead of more places. We headed for hotel at the end of the day.

Day 2

We planned for zoo for the next day as we had our little ones interest to be looked upon too. We reached zoo quite early keeping in mind to cover some other places too but were not sure if we could. Entrance of the zoo was mesmerizing. We are happy and thought about the rest of the zoo. It had a typical environment of rainforest. Zoo in Singapore is a habitat to innumerable species with attractions like orangutan, white tiger, structures for dinosaurs, and many more. The most amazing thing about the place is you can have your breakfast with the orangutans. For our kid we had Rainforest Kidzworld, swings, pony rides, slides and farmyard animals on top of our list. We started by enjoying the dinosaur structure which really scared my daughter enough to bring her to tears thinking them to be real scary creatures. They were fantastic. One important thing to be kept in mind while visiting Singapore is the timing. Various shows are held at different timings and none of them are supposed to be missed. The elephant show was spellbinding. The way the elephants act and the show they carry out was worth admiring.

Zoo was big enough to have large cafeteria inside for breakfast and lunch. We relished our lunch there before continuing our further zoo journey. Zoo is divided into 11 zones and so you can think of the massiveness of the zoo. Safety of the animals was fantastic. It also had a mini tram for the visitors to move from one zone to the other. Zoo was massive and each and every bit was worth watching. We ended the day by having Mac donald meals located right near the gate of the zoo. At the end of the day  we had sleep on our minds as we were knackered.

Day 3

Day 3 started with us visiting the merlion statue. This merlion is the must visit place in Singapore. The statue is of half-fish and half lion. Water gushes out from the mouth of the statue that is based on the waterfront of the Merlion park. The place buzzes with the visitors throughout the day. It is the symbol of Singapore. It is the face of the lion and body of the fish that is located in the business street of Singapore. We ended up taking many pictures.

Later half of the day we finished by visiting Little India street located in Singapore. It is the street of colours, so beautiful with market that had colours all over and food from India. It was enthralling. If you like Indian food, don’t forget to visit this place ones you visit Singapore. It is located across the China Town. Don’t forget to visit Sri Veeramakaliamman Temple. Most attractive were the tiny miniature statues that were on the temple. Entrance is free so do visit however, dressing properly with due respect is must.

Mustafa Centre

This is the best center that has everything under one roof. It is the center that works 24 hours and is the solution for each and every ones daily need. Apart from our household needs, we ended up buying toys and electronics too. It is one of the cheapest malls based in the country. Though it is a bit cluttered and messy but it is the place where you find the oddest of odd thing you were not able to find elsewhere. one of the must places to visit in Singapore if you want to buy things back to gift it to near and dear ones.

Day 4 & 5

Sentosa Island

One of the key attractions of Singapore, trip to Singapore is not completed without visiting Sentosa Island. It is located south of the Singapore city center. We got to have the cable ride from the vivo city to the beaches which we found to be the most convenient way. The view we could enjoy from the cable car was never to be missed out. There are ample of attraction which couldn’t be completed in one single day so we decided to dedicate two days on Sentosa Island.

Key attractions in Singapore

SEA Aquarium

You get to take the one day admission ticket. You will be able to see water habitat animals and this aquarium is the place to more than 10000 creatures with 800 different species.

The center of attraction is the gigantic aquarium for the Open Ocean habitat, which makes one feel like we are on the hollow ocean floor. Viewing from the glass panel makes us feel like we are in the ocean along with the creatures. It was so fantastic that I kept on watching fish at the end of the aquarium from at least half an hour which was massive. They reacted to us and made us feel as if they came to watch us. People too get a chance to dive in along with the fish who wish too. Experience was worth it. The star fish, the moray eel, sharks, algae from different part of the world make us feel that humans are not alone on this planet.

Universal studio Singapore.

If you are an adventure lover, this is a must visit place for you. It is place full of rides, fantasies, transformers, mummies rides, etc. Place is crowded all the time and will consume a lot of time of yours so plan it accordingly. You have the option to buy express tickets too if you can afford it. You will get to enjoy the real thrill. The Hollywood shows, the Madagascar shows had beauty of its own. Most vital thing to carry along is the map which will help you locate where you are and where do you want to go. If you are visiting universal studios in Singapore it is important to avoid this place on weekends as it gives too much of rush and crowd.

Sentosa Island

It is a beauty on its own and we ended the day in Singapore by visiting the beach side. Maps helped us to spot the location and the facilities of moving from one zone to other were internally available which made a lot easier. Bars were located at the beach which made our day.  We ended the day by visiting

Summing up all Singapore is a place which will not let your energy down a single minute. You got to have this place in must visit lists and I assure you its worth it!

We had to leave the next early morning to catch our flights but we will never forget the experience we had in this god gifted country and would definitely love to visit again!

I’m thinking about creating my own but I’m not sure where to begin. Do you have any tips or suggestions? Thank you

I’ve been browsing online more than three hours today, yet I never found any interesting article like yours. It’s pretty worth enough for me. In my view, if all site owners and bloggers made good content as you did, the web will be a lot more useful than ever before.
